20 women artists at the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Luis
THE GRAND OPENING OF 4 EXHIBITIONS BY 20 WOMEN ARTISTS AT THE MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART, WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE THIS THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 9, AT 7:00 PM, WITH FREE ADMISSION.
“The Hidden Face” by Italian artist Francesca Dalla Benetta was announced; she was present to talk about her new major solo exhibition, as well as Xitlali Minssart, Constance Jones, and Monique Sánchez (representing the 17 artists of the “Nosotras otras” exhibition), and the Director of MAC, Nadia Garza Ramírez.
For the first time in history, all exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Art will be by women creators. Both the main exhibition, the Sustainable Development Goals room, the Piece of the Month, and the mural on the east terrace, a total of 20 women exhibiting their artistic work, an unprecedented event at the museum and in other cultural institutions.
