October arrived with the happiness and satisfaction of all that we worked on in September, which is why I want to start by telling you a little about how last month closed.

The awaited inauguration of The Hidden Face

Let me tell you about this long-awaited day, the inauguration of El Rostro Oculto (The Hidden Face) at CEART Querétaro, and it was an event I will hardly forget. The space was filled with warm energy and a beautiful atmosphere, which was one of the things I most wanted to convey, so it was quite an achievement with the help of all those who accompanied me. 

For me, it was wonderful to see how my inner space was expanding to connect with people; that made me continue to be proud of the strength of this project. It is not just art; it is a reflection of our identities, of what we are in the company of others and an invitation to recognize ourselves in others.

I felt welcomed by the beautiful opening speech, and the night passed between hugs and photos during my guided tour. Thanks also to my media friends who accompanied me and helped me make my voice resonate.

I wanted to leave this memory here because it was a very special moment, and I would love it if you could also come to the exhibition and experience it with your own eyes.

Speaking frankly  

Another project I want to share with you is episode 6 of season 3 of @HistoriasSinPelos (Stories Without Hair) in which Andy Garcia (@andiedadog) and I had a wonderful session as part of her podcast.

It is a fascinating project; they open a space to speak freely and, as they say, "No filters, no fear, just truths," and it was beautiful to open up and share who I am, as a person and as an artist, beyond the cold and programmed virtual space.

I always look for the positive side in everything and to form closeness with all the people I connect with, and that is why this podcast already receives much of my affection; I opened up by telling my life, my projects, my inspiration, my thoughts, and insecurities.

One of the projects I worked on was for Beyond Dimensions art magazine. I was able to speak with complete freedom about how my sculptures are born, from that cross between dreams, the symbolic, and the material.

It always surprises me how processes, materials, and even accidents end up constructing pieces that seem to have their own destiny, almost as if they wanted to breathe and come to life.

In the interview, I talked about works like La Notte, Abismo, or Defragmentación, and how the ideas of transformation and freedom in art move me. It was very nice to talk about my process.
