Interludio

INTERLUDIO

Interludio es una colección de tránsito. Reúne obras realizadas durante una etapa de experimentación y búsqueda de una nueva estética, cuando todavía no era evidente hacia dónde se dirigía mi trabajo.

En estas piezas conviven intuiciones que más adelante se convertirían en elementos importantes de mi lenguaje escultórico y otras exploraciones que no encontraron continuidad. Sin embargo, unas y otras tienen el mismo valor dentro del proceso creativo: fueron necesarias para descubrir qué caminos quería seguir y cuáles necesitaba dejar atrás.

Me interesa reconocer esos momentos en los que parece que no avanzamos, aunque seguimos produciendo ideas, probando formas y cuestionando lo que hacemos. La ausencia de una dirección clara no significa que no exista movimiento. A veces es precisamente esa incertidumbre la que nos permite despejar el camino.

Interludio conserva las huellas de esa búsqueda. No es un paréntesis vacío entre dos etapas, sino el espacio donde comienza a tomar forma lo que viene después.

INTERLUDE

Interludio is a collection in transition. It brings together works created during a period of experimentation and the search for a new aesthetic, when the direction of my practice was not yet clear.

Some ideas explored in these sculptures later became lasting elements of my artistic language. Others did not develop further. Yet both are valuable: each experiment helped me recognize which paths to pursue and which to leave behind.

I am interested in those moments when creative work can feel stagnant, even as ideas continue to emerge, forms are tested and familiar approaches are questioned. A lack of clear direction does not mean that nothing is happening. Sometimes uncertainty is what allows the path ahead to become visible.

Interludio preserves the traces of that search. It is not an empty pause between two stages, but a space in which what comes next begins to take shape.
