¿CREES QUE SOY TIERNA? is a resin sculpture of a woman with a bear custom.
The title means, in Spanish, “do you believe I’m sweet?”, alluding to having different aspects in one’s character: we sometimes are relaxed, sweet, good, and some other times are not.
The piece speaks about having a role as a person: we are friends, sons, employee, good, bad, happy, mad… we are different depending of the circumstances and the person we are dealing with.
This piece is part of the collection Disfraces e Identidad (Customs and Identities), where Francesca explores different aspect of the person identity, and how people wear roles and personalities according to the situation.
In this serie, the artist wonders what is the true self, and what is a lie we tell other and the society.
This piece is hand painted with oil colors. this is a unique piece and there is no other like it.
