In LA CREACIÓN DEL MUNDO I aimed to portray the essence of a child’s innocence and wonder as they create and shape their world. A young girl stands on a textured globe, fragile yet strong, embodying the limitless possibilities of imagination. She holds a giant sunflower, which symbolizes creation, growth, and the beauty of life in its purest form.Children possess an extraordinary faith in their abilities, untainted by doubt or fear. They marvel at simple things—a flower, a breeze, or the earth beneath their feet—turning these moments into magical adventures. In this sculpture, the sunflower becomes her tool of creation, her connection to the universe and its mysteries. This piece reminds us that within every adult lies the bravery and wonder of childhood, often overshadowed but never entirely lost.
This piece belongs to the collection "CHILDREN AND THEIR IMAGINARY FRIENDS", a series celebrating the boundless spirit of childhood, its monsters, and its magic.
