Artwork Details
This piece is about difficult choices and how it can be complicated to get out of our comfort zone. The wings represent just that, the comfort zones, the situations that seem somehow perfect or comfortable to us. The character has shed these wings, but is still hesitant to take on new challenges and new adventures. You are in this complicated moment where he is about to make the decision that he feels is more his own and more authentic. He wants to say who he really is. He has to leave behind a lot of things that were comfortable and known.
