The artist worked at this proyecto between 2013 and 2014, during a moment of personal crisis and doubt about where she belonged. She had been spent 6 years in Mexico, and was not sure to want to stay there. She use this project to connect with other Italians in Mexico and collected stories and pictures to find a common migration patron to mirror herself.
During this period she met wonderful people and discover that herself, not a geographical place, is her home. She decided to remain in Mexico to explore more and to continue to work. the result of this introspective journey, was a collection of resin sculptures and engravings, all portraits of her peers.
Any piece was based of hundreds of pictures taken during the interviews and meeting between artist and people, and the fantastic elements added are the interpretations of anecdotes, moments, preferences and lifestyle expressed by the models. You can see more of this collection here.
