METAFORAS DEL SER
La colección de obras presenta personajes disfrazados con máscaras, trajes, a veces de animales o con texturas de plantas y minerales, y elementos fantásticos. Cada personaje, aislado en una dimensión íntima e irreal, propone reflexiones sobre la identidad de los inadaptados y cuestiona la capacidad del ser humano para descubrirse detrás de sus máscaras y disfraces, que usamos para relacionarnos y sobrevivir. Las máscaras representan los roles que adoptamos en la vida, impuestos por la sociedad o autoimpuestos, y que a menudo confundimos con nuestra verdadera identidad.
METAPHORS OF BEING
The collection features characters dressed in masks and costumes, sometimes resembling animals or with textures of plants and minerals, incorporating fantastic elements. Each character, isolated in an intimate and unreal dimension, offers reflections on the identity of misfits and questions the human ability to discover themselves behind their masks and disguises, which we use to relate to others and to survive. The masks represent the roles we adopt in life, imposed by society or self-imposed, and are often mistaken for our true identity.
