IL PESCATORE (the fisherman in Italian, mothertongue of the artist) is a bronze scupture of a man with a contemplative actitude and simple gestures: in his tranquillity is reading a neswpaper and feeling peaceful at home, while sitting on a pier on the water.
it is a nostalgic reflection of the artist on her distance from home, and despite this, the feeling is beautiful, peaceful and reassuring, because "home" is inside her, even if she is far away.
This piece has a black patina with green details. The black patina is made from the green one, after a burning process, so magical and mystical.
This sculpture is a series of 6, and as it is hand made all are a little bit different.
The sculpture base is made of iron. The size include the base.
