Exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art of San Luis Potosí and the Metropolitan Museum of Monterrey (Mexico), as part of the exhibition The Hidden Face.
Explosiones is the portrait of a woman at peace with herself. Her serene expression and satisfied gaze speak of a rich inner life—understood, accepted, and embraced.
From her head bursts a monumental mane, full of curves and movement, as if matter itself were giving shape to her thoughts. This explosion is not chaotic but creative—an expression of intuition and self-awareness.
Through the contrast between the calm of her face and the dynamic energy of her hair, the piece embodies the balance between the inner and outer world, between deep thought and the beauty that emerges from it.
A sculpture that celebrates the power of the mind when it is in harmony with the soul.
