MANY GILRS is a small bronze sculpture of a young woman with big flowered hair. Between the hair, many faces and a skulls are hidden.
This is the bust version.
This piece is about our many aspects of one’s personality. We grow up educated to respond in different ways according to the situations or to the person we are in front of. We are mothers, fathers, sons and daughters, friends, wives, employers or employees, customers, end so on… we can be gentle, good, or nasty and bad, we can be funny of sad, or angry… all depends on different combinations: no-one is the same all the time, we have roles and characters.
This piece wants to emphasize how we can change and how many different person we can be. This piece has a black, green and brown patina.
Please remember that this piece is part of a series of 6, and the patina (colors) may vary a little from piece to piece (I always try to make them the most similar, but part of the patina’s beauty is exactly their uniqueness).
The size includes the marble base.
