This week officially marked the beginning of a collaboration that I am incredibly excited about: Francesca Dalla Benetta x Emporio Armani.

After months of work, ideas, sketches, decisions, and countless hours in the studio, the moment finally arrived to unveil the sculpture I created especially for this project and to see it installed within the world of Emporio Armani.

The opening was a true celebration.

During the first events, I had the opportunity to share not only the finished artwork, but also part of the process that usually takes place in the privacy of my studio: how a sculpture is born, how a figure is constructed, how the material is transformed, and how an idea ultimately becomes a bronze sculpture.

Being able to work in front of an audience and share this process up close was a very special experience for me. Sculpture usually involves many hours of silence, concentration, corrections, experimentation, and searching. Bringing that process outside the studio and sharing it directly with the guests created an entirely different connection with the artwork.

And the response was extraordinary.

The evening brought together personalities from film, television, music, fashion, design, and the creative industries. Among our guests were Carolina Miranda, Juan Felipe Sempler, Javier Jattin, Mina Serrano y Mauri Stern, alongside designers, producers, managers, photographers, creatives, collectors, and friends as Rubén Anaya, Daniela Valenzuela, Gunter González, Audrey Annou, Aitor Ferrón, Juan Heiblum, Rafael Picard, Carlos H. Hernández, Marco Valentini, Carlos Venegas y Kenneth Rafael Arrieta, entre muchos otros.

It was especially exciting to see people from such different worlds approach the sculpture, ask about its story, its materials, and the process behind it, and discover everything that happens before a finished work finally comes to life.

For me, this project represents a very natural encounter between two languages that have always been deeply connected: fashion and sculpture.

Both work with the body, identity, form, presence, and the way we choose to present ourselves to the world. That is why it has been so fascinating to develop a piece that could exist within the language of Emporio Armani while still remaining completely rooted in my own artistic universe.

Seeing the sculpture finally there, surrounded by people, conversations, and movement, was one of those moments that makes all the months of work worthwhile.

And this is only the beginning.

Over the coming days, the events will continue at the Emporio Armani boutiques, where I will keep sharing the creative process behind the sculpture and inviting visitors to discover some of the techniques and decisions that are part of my work as a sculptor.

Thank you to Emporio Armani Mexico, to the entire team who made this collaboration possible, and to every person who joined us for the opening.

It was an incredible evening filled with art, encounters, and emotion.

I am so happy to share this new chapter of my work with all of you.
