Back to Italy: "Beyond Human" and a Heartfelt Thank You
There are updates and moments in an artist's career that bring immense joy to share, and this is without a doubt one of them. On September 3rd, the official opening of the collective exhibition "Beyond Human: Uomo Macchina Natura" (Human, Machine, Nature) will take place, a beautiful project in which I have the privilege of participating with my work—and even better, being there in person to celebrate it!
This opening coincides with my trip through Italy, where I will be exploring the wonderful island of Sicily. The exhibition will be held at the iconic Ex Convento di Santa Chiara, in the stunning town of Noto, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Exhibiting in such an impeccable venue, steeped in history and architectural beauty, is an absolute gift—one of those moments in an artist's journey that makes you pause, take a deep breath, and feel deeply grateful.
The exhibition—which will be open from September 2nd to October 22nd, 2026—explores the relationship between human beings, technology, and nature in an era of profound transformation, inviting us to reflect on metamorphosis, imagination, and our capacity to give meaning to progress. For this show, I am participating with my sculpture Castor (Castore), which forms part of this dialogue between matter, form, and the human spirit.
A Shared Journey with Extraordinary People
This exhibition also marks a very special milestone in my recent career: it has been over two years of actively collaborating with MateriaArte, and I couldn't let this date pass without dedicating a few special words to curator and gallerist Marcella Damigella.
Working with Marcella has been an extraordinary experience. In a world as complex and dynamic as contemporary art, finding a gallerist with her level of professionalism, flawlessness, and dedication is a true treasure. Her meticulous organization in every detail, her commitment to doing things right, and, above all, the warmth and respect with which she works make every collaboration flow brilliantly.
Marcella: thank you from the bottom of my heart for every opportunity, for your constant trust in my three-dimensional work, and for the mutual respect and admiration we have built together day by day. It is a huge honor to continue walking and creating side by side.
