He venido reflexionando sobre lo técnico y lo conceptual.
A veces siento el impulso de explorar nuevas maneras de trabajar, de buscar otros lenguajes, de salir de lo que ya conozco y empujar los límites de mi propio proceso.
Hay una emoción muy particular en ese impulso: la posibilidad de descubrir algo nuevo, de abrir caminos que todavía no tienen forma. Pero junto con esa emoción también aparece el miedo al fracaso, a perder claridad, a no saber exactamente hacia dónde me estoy moviendo.
Y sin embargo, entiendo que ese riesgo es parte esencial del crecimiento.
Al mismo tiempo, hay algo profundamente valioso en volver al oficio, en afinar la técnica, en profundizar en un lenguaje que se ha ido construyendo con los años.
Este equilibrio —entre explorar lo desconocido y sostener lo que ya existe— es donde siento que realmente sucede la transformación.
I’ve been reflecting on the relationship between the technical and the conceptual.
At times, I feel the urge to explore new ways of working—to search for new languages, to step outside of what I already know and push the boundaries of my own process.
There is a particular kind of excitement in that impulse: the possibility of discovering something new, of opening paths that don’t yet have a defined form. But alongside that excitement, there is also the fear of failure—the uncertainty, the loss of clarity, the sense of not fully knowing where I am heading.
And yet, I understand that this risk is an essential part of growth.
At the same time, there is something deeply valuable in returning to the craft, in refining technique, in going deeper into a language that has been built over time.
This balance—between exploring the unknown and sustaining what already exists—is where I feel transformation truly happens.
