AVIADOR is a bronze sculpture of a man with helmet and a winged backpack. The title means, in Spanish, “Pilot”, and it is like a new Icaro, with a big desire to fly.

The artist loves Icaro’s story and metaphor of a man willing to take risks and to fly away from his unsatisfied current situation. He is a person who wants big changes and it is key for having a great life. It is part of the Icarus serie.

This piece is part of the collection Disfraces e Identidad (Customs and Identities), where Francesca explores different aspect of the person identity, and how people wear roles and personalities according to the situation.

In this serie, the artist wonders what is the true self, and what is a lie we tell other and the society.

This is a unique piece and there is no other like it.
