El 25 de septiembre a las 7pm inaugura El Rostro Oculto 

Centro de las Artes (CEART) de Querétaro.

Me emociona mucho porque es mi primera exposición individual en esta ciudad, que conozco poco pero sé que es muy bella y llena de arte.  Espero me puedas acompañar, te dejo más info en el enlace.

On September 25th at 7 PM, El Rostro Oculto opens at the Centro de las Artes (CEART) in Querétaro.

I’m really excited because it’s my first solo exhibition in this city, which I don’t know very well yet, but I’ve heard is beautiful and full of art. I hope you can join me — you can find more information in the link.

El próximo jueves 4 de septiembre se inaugura una exposición colectiva que marca la apertura de la Galería Arte Capital.

Será en zona San Ángel CDMX.

Next Thursday, September 4th, a group exhibition opens, marking the launch of Galería Arte Capital.

It will take place in the San Ángel area of Mexico City. You can find all the details in the flyer or here.

MI PIEL

Este mes te voy a platicar de una pieza que hice hace poco. Es una resina.

Me encanta hacer resina por lo versátil, que es este material, por la posibilidad de pintarlo y de transformarlo de las formas más variadas. Esta pieza trae una enredadera, como si fuera un tatuaje que cubre buena parte del cuerpo de la mujer. Para mí sumergirme en el proceso de pintura es casi una meditación: las líneas que se entrelazan, las capas de color, la manera como la pintura abraza la escultura crea un ensimismamiento que me arrulla.

This month, I want to share a piece I created recently. It’s made of resin.

I love working with resin because of how versatile this material is — the endless possibilities to paint it and transform it in so many different ways. This piece features a climbing vine, almost like a tattoo, wrapping around much of the woman’s body.

For me, immersing myself in the painting process is almost like meditation: the intertwining lines, the layers of color, the way the paint embraces the sculpture — it all creates a deep, soothing state of flow that carries me away.

This is a one-of-a-kind piece. I hope you love it as much as I loved creating it. You can find more information here.
